I’m not really sure what to say about him. He is dragging me back, what he has coped with over the last period is beyond anything, its too much for most people to understand. His temperament and willingness to do the job are beyond question. He is enormous! He loves nothing better than going to an event. Obviously the statistics are easy to repeat, he was 9th at the 2016 Rio Olympics, he jumped one of only three triple clears. He has been to Badminton twice, he won the Grantham Cup CIC4 at Belton. He has many other national and international placings all with Jonty!
A lovely moving bay mare, with an excellent jumping technique who has a great ‘lets get on with it’ temperament. Competed at a few jumping shows and XC schooled a couple of times. She will make a fantastic showjumper or eventer and shows serious scope and ability for the future. Will be for sale.
He is a really nice four year old that we are producing, he has a fantastic regularity to his step, a very easy canter and a gorgeous jump. He seems brave and sensible and the feeling is he will produce very well. His future without doubt lies in eventing, it will be really interesting to see how far he can go! There will definitely be the need to sell him in the future or better still find him an owner. He has exceptional breeding, with both King of Diamonds and a Gold Cup winning progeny in there!
An integral part of the running of the yard, Michelle and Louis have a fantastic partnership, together they enjoy eventing at BE100level, are qualified for a regional final and enjoying the journey. They receive regular help from Jonty and are in the trainers words, ‘coming on in leaps and bounds’.
Another integral part of the team, Lucy and Tom have an equally good partnership, they too compete well at BE100 and this year, due to moving to the area etc they are aiming to compete at some of the events in the Cotswold Cup series – Good prize Money!
